Sadly, racism is still present in many parts of the world. The current developments in the USA have caused the topic to boil over. As tens of thousands of people protest in real life, countless others have taken to Instagram to show support for the cause and draw attention to the unequal treatment of African-Americans and black people worldwide. Under the #blackouttuesday hashtag you can find millions of black squares that symbolise solidarity and the push for equality.
